Exceeding Expectations for Growth – Teicher Patterson at Enfield Middle School

Leigh Ann Hudson, Cohort VI, Receives Bright Ideas Grant

Leigh Ann Hudson, of NELA’s Cohort VI, applied for a grant through the Edgecombe-Martin Electric Corporation. She received her seventh Bright Ideas Grant for $957. The money will be used to fund Alternative Energy Projects in science classrooms at Riverside High School . The materials bought with the funds can be used for several years…

Cohort VI NELA Fellow, Laura Wilson, received a grant from the Wake Electric Classroom Technology award. Laura will be participating in the NELA Principal Residency next school  year and wanted to give back to her school. She applied for The Classroom Technology Grant and won $3,000. NELA Fellow Receives Burroughs Wellcome Fund PRISM Grant for School

In February, 2016, Cohort IV Fellow, Cliff Hudson, received the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Promoting Innovation in Science and Mathematics grant.
