NELA Graduates, Melissa Altemose and Lauren Lampron share their perspectives on School Leadership during COVID-19.

Join NELA graduates, Melissa Altemose (JPLA) and Dr. Lauren Lampron (NELA Cohort III), in their mini-series on school leadership during the Covid pandemic. The series offer their perspectives on how school leaders can build a comprehensive school culture during the “new normal”.

They both hope that this series will begin a larger conversation on innovative ideas, strategies, and resources that  educational leaders have created and used during the Covid pandemic.

Melissa and Lauren have extensive experience in school leadership and are both serving as school administrators in North Carolina. Melissa Altemose is currently  an Assistant Principal at Coker-Wimberly Elementary School and Dr. Lauren Lampron is the Principal at SouthWest Edgecombe High School.
